Whispering Hills Golf Club

Purpose:

To assist the ownership group to provide optimum playing conditions and property aesthetics by means of secondary maintenance assistance through volunteer time and labour contributions; under the approval and direction of the ownership group.

Objective:

Provide secondary maintenance to all golf holes and auxiliary areas by:

groups of two to four people taking responsibility for one or more designated holes and performing required stewardship twice monthly, from May 1st to September 30th;
the full group addressing general property cleanup requirements twice annually, in April and August.

Procedure:

1)  Each April and August the full group will address all trimming, pruning and required removals of all trees, bushes and shrubs.

2)  Twice per month, in groups of two to four people on the assigned hole(s), address all cutting and trimming of grass identified as “rough” and not accessible by operated equipment; such as tree lines adjacent Fairways, around Sand and/or Grass Bunkers and under Fairway trees.

3)  Twice per month, in groups of two to four people on the assigned hole(s), address areas requiring hand mower cutting and trimming of grass and not accessible by operated equipment; such as around Tee Decks and Greens.
