Darrell graduated with a degree in Golf Course Management in 1994. In that year he became Assistant Superintendent under Doug Day who was the Head Superintendent.

After 4 years as an assistant, Darrell became the Golf Course Superintendent in the 1998 season and numerous changes and improvements occured. After 2 years as Superintendent, he became the General Manager of Operations and is now involved in the whole operation of the facility.

In the Spring of 2001, Darrell became the Authorized Custom-Club Fitter for PING Golf Equipment (based out of Phoenix, Arizona) for Hanover and the surrounding area.

As an avid 4 handicap golfer, Darrell has also competed in numerous golf competitions and has been well known for hitting 300+ yard drives with the aid of his 128 mph club head speed! Darrell uses a 7 degree Titanium PING TiSI Tec Driver with a 46" PING WRX graphite shaft.
